I first heard this back during my senior year of highschool during this same commercial. I don't know how to explain it but it really captured a sense of wonder snd excitement for me. It made me envision a future full of adventure you definitely don't see commercials like that anymore.

I randomly thought of this the other day and looked up one of the lines and was able to find it! Cant believe this is 14 years old, unreal.

I remember being half asleep playing my DS and watching adult swim and nodding off to this commercial thinking it was a dream.

This is one of my favorite ads ever. Something about the reciting of Whitman’s “O Pioneers” and the banging in the music just stirs my soul.

There’s something about this ad that resonates with me. I have to come back and watch it every so often. It also makes me sad that I don’t think I ever really took advantage of my younger years.

This commercial has been a source of inspiration in my photography for years. whenever I am doubting myself or creativity I always come back to this video and it gives me a fresh breath of what it means to be creative

This clip is so much more than a commercial. Takes me back to the person I was back then. exploring, adventuring to the unknown of life. Still feels the same and refreshing after watching this.

The coolest thing about this ad is that IT'S ACTUALLY A RECORDING OF WHITMAN READING HIS OWN POEM. It has to be one of the first sound recordings ever.
